Global Hawk to receive adverse-weather capabilities

Adverse-weather capabilities are to be added to Northrop Grumman's RQ-4N Global Hawk unmanned air vehicle in order to meet the requirements of the US Navy's Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) programme. The new features, along with a different sensor payload, will further distinguish the BAMS platform from the US Air Force RQ-4B Global Hawk variant
