Three British men were acquitted of helping the 7 July 2005 London suicide bombers on 28 April. The prosecution argued that Mohammed Shakil, 32, Sadeer Saleem, 28, and Waheed Ali, 25, helped two of the bombers scout targets during a two-day visit to London in the run-up to the attack. Prosecutor Neil Flewitt told the jury that the case was based on circumstantial evidence that created a compelling picture of guilt, the BBC reported
