Three Disaster Recovery Centers Will Close June 19

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- The West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Mingo County and one in Wyoming County will permanently close on Friday, June 19 at 7 p.m.

ICC Helps With Flood Mitigation And Repair Costs

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- West Virginians may be eligible for a grant to help pay for repairs to property damaged by recent floods. Under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), if a flood insurance policy was in effect for 30 days before the severe storms, flooding, mudslides and landslides that began in May, policy holders may qualify for Increased Cost of Compliance (ICC) funds.
